Incredible HT1000 FPP GPS Encryption *Look*

Post by RadioSouth »

Hey guys I make a habit of not discussing EBay things here but in over 10 years of E-Baying I have never found a radio close to this and thought you might want to take a peek. A guys advertizing a HT1000 that Was FPP, had dual encryption, GPS, dual color red and green DTMF pad and oh yeah is now a 16 channel radio converted from 2 but he's not including the 16 ch. escutcheon. It's item # 270522775366

Maybe I should sell off my repair depot warp engines and spare plasma injectors.....

Maybe this guy spent far too much time watching too much TV and ate one too many 'magic' mushrooms as well.

Funny how an adult can make such outrageously stupid claims and offers nothing toprove the validity of those claims.

But really, 'Starburst' what?

Double encryption, and shielding far batter than anything tempest rated?

I wonder if his Jedi case is made of duranium and the batteries are dilithium matrices as well????

I better stop laughing, I am close to a typing inability now!

OK we all know this guy is full of it

but who would bid/buy on an item that the seller is going to remove 1/2 of the electronics before shipping? Reading his ramblings, I would not trust this guy to walk my dog, let along work on electrionics :o

Sounds to me like an April fools article.
At least it is very creative writing, at worst a lunatic...
Fun to read that's for sure.

I wonder if that guy would be interested in buying my encrypted communicator badge?

I also have 4 starships for sale...Entgerprise E, Enterprise D and the original, as well as the Reliant.

It is amazing he's so in love with the red TX light also...'flash' 'flash' 'flash'.....Guess it transmits, where, no clue.

Maybe Circle-M folks will pull his sale for offering a fake Jedi?

The only 'signaling' he has, is by taking off his aluminum foil headgear!

I think I'll use my Super Squirrel Admin powers to post in this locked thread, and point out it was a very obvious joke on the seller's part. His point was that nobody reads complete ebay lisitings...and judging by the response here, he was right! After the sci-fi techno blurb on the radio, he goes on to congratulate you for reading past all that, then gives the 'real' listing, stating it's a stock HT1000, several times. Actually quite funny, IMO.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
