XTS 5K Voice Announcement

Post by Squad5 »

My firmware has voice announcement listed as a feature but the Tech that upgraded it said that he didn't have the voice files for it??? Is it possible to have it enabled but with no files?

-Is there a way to get the voice files?

Yes you make your own using the built in converter. There is ample information in the CPS help file explaining how to do it.

After I have the File created, there is a spot in CPS for me to upload it to and it will auto convert it?

Once you have the files created, you need to go to Tools>Voice Files>Voice Files Compression
Once you have the files compressed, then you need to go to File>Import>Voice Files to import the files you just compressed
Also make sure you have "Read/Write Voice files" enabled under the View>Options>Channel Announcement Options menu

Clear as mud?
