Hello,
Let me being by saying I am new to the site, so if this sounds like a bit of a newb question, then i apologize! Long story short, I am looking at getting a spare Minitor II pager, My department tones out on 154.3000MHz, I found a pager that was already setup for the correct frequency, however it is on channel two. What I need to know is 1, can I make the pager receive on channel two after my tones are dropped? and 2. What is all involved to change the what tones the pager will open up on? I still need to figure out what tone we use, all i know as of right now is it is a single 5 second tone.
in summary, we have had some issues with pagers "not working" I find it hard to believe, but for the cost of an old minitor II, I would not mind using that as a spare to leave on the night stand.... Any input would be great!

Re: Minitor II questions
swap the f1/f2 crystals.
open it up and you'll see tone filters. rip out the old and install what you need.
