GP360

Post by firemedix128 »

I have done some programming for some friends that have gp360 UHF radios. There is one thing that I can not figure out. When they transmit there is a squelch or feed back at the end of their transmit. It is just like a short maybe 1 second or less of static. It drives me nuts listening to it! I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue and if there is something within the programming that I can change to stop this. Please help!!! I work for a private paramedic service and many of the guys are buying these radios because of how cheap they can get them on ebay.

You've got the MDC signalling function turned on in the program. Go into the program and turn it and any other signalling function you find to OFF. Leave the PL or DPL setup as it is. Problem will be solved. Also, if the program has a HELP function take a look at it.
