I have a ICOP and am trying to hook up the HELP button feature to my MCS2000 radio. Can anyone help me wire it up. I have tried to get help from ICOP and they are about as knowledgable at it as I am.
I just need to know if I can use my own CAT5 cable instead of buying an "ICOP" cable and if i can, what colors correspond.
Which pins in the accesory plug to plug into and with what color wires.
Please check with your Radio Technical Specialist regarding external microphone
compatibility.
Certain police radio models require a special cable from the radio manufacturer that is
connected inside the radio. Other police radio models may require additional
programming to activate the external port.
Please keep in mind that certain police radio models cannot accept an external
microphone
