XTS3000 DTMF Phone list help

Post by cahighwayman22 »

On my XTS3000, I have a channel setup with a phone list I created to command a repeater. Whats happening is after im finished dialing a number from my DTMF list, and when i go to hit "Home", the radio will suddenly keyup, and set out a string of DTMF tones, and the radio locks up on me, and essentially I have to remove the battery to shut the thing off. Idk for the life of me of whats causing this.

I have an MTS2000 that does this. I did not set up the DTMF on it though, its under the CALL tab in the radio menu. However, mine will only lock up on a certain number, but all i have to do is turn the radio off via the volume knob, then back on again.

The only way I was able to make it so the radio doesn't lock up is by putting an astrick in the Access, and Deaccess box in the "DTMF codes" section. My radio has an M3 case, but it only has a model 2 Codeplug in it right now, so thats why i'm resorting to the phone list config, until i can get my radio setup to a M3 radio.
