XTL Series Tone Remote Control

Does anyone know if either the XTL5000 or XTL2500 will work with a tone remote adapter? I am looking at updating our radios that are connected to a Zetron 4010.

If tone remote won't work will they work with local control option on the Zetron?

They would both work either way, but no channel steering unless its a consolette.

Sorry for the idiot questions but by channel steering you mean changing channels?

You could change them by going to the radio and selecting a different channel, but cannot use binary coded decimal relay outputs like from a cpi ttp216 remote adapter to change modes like you could on a cdm or gm300.
