HELP! CDM1550 LS+

Hello.

I have a problem programming a brand new cdm1550 ls+. It showed that does have conventional settings and in the conventional channel, I entered all the data, all the proper zone set up to conventional and when I program the radio, in the upper left corner has the castle looking icon with the half oval style icon with it. WHen you go into the zone and choose conventional, the display reads UNPROGRAMMED and if you key the radio up, get the error sound and half to turn the radio off. I cannot seem to understand what is wrong.

Any and all help appreciated.

I can send the codeplug if you can assist. I need regular conventional setting.
