Maratrac Help!!

Post by markinohio »

I was trying to adjust the output power in the service software for the Maratrac but the pc / program locked up in the middle of the process. I shut down the pc and unplugged the Maratrac. Now when I turn on the Maratrac it does a "Beep-Beep" 5 times in a row. No transmit...no receive....and the digital mode number is at 1 and wont change on the control head. All buttons are non-functional. I can read the code plug and it still shows the freqencies. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

If you can still read the radio like you said, it sounds like the radio codeplug got screwed up. Best bet is to
go back to your saved file in the computer. Load that and then write it back to the radio. See if that clears
up the hung radio.

Or, power up the radio, run the RSS and go into the Service menu and change one of the values and press F8 to program it back into the radio. Most of the time this will 'FIX' the problem.
Later you should change the Value back to what it was.
