Does anyone know of a dual band antenna for 29-54MHz? I read in other posts that Comet makes such an animal, but they did not list a model number. An intensive search on the internet for a 10/6 meter dual band antenna turns up nothing. Any suggestions?

I have one. It works GREAT! Unfortunately, it's about 10 years old and faded. I got it at HRO in Atlanta, if that's any help.

hustler hf mobile antenna, mast it 54 inch should work on 6 meters then put a 10 meter resonator on it.

That advice is dead-on correct. 54 inches is a quarter-wave on 52 mHz.

Depending on which way you want to go with the antenna, there is one way that I know will work. Had to do it on a fire chief's car many moons ago. This
way requires that you mount 2 antennas on the vehicle. It also requires that you do some math on the length of the coax feed lines to each antenna.

Mount the 6 meter antenna on one side of the vehicle and feed it with the length of cable for the 10 meter frequency. Then mount the 10 meter antenna
and feed it with the 6 meter length of cable. At the radio use a "T" type adapter to bring both cables together and screw the T into the radio.
