didn't know if anyone had ever seen / used one of these before ... i've built a similar product out of a couple cdm 750's and some rts telex intercom products. its not near as clean as this what with external power supplies, fans etc but works great for its purpose.
just wondering if anyone had any experience with the product, seen it in use, etc. riedel is a well respected company with many cutting edge intercom solutions they have been used at the Olympics for a number of year as well as being the f1 supplier but not as big a presence here in the us ...
anyway i've got some people looking at this as a possible solution for their needs and wanted some input/ feedback the price isn't terrible considering what you get i think around 2300 us.
which after buying 2 radios, ps, intercom interface etc, you come close to that.
ok thanks in advance!

Re: radio intercom interface
You might want to also consider similar interfaces that have been made and sold by both RTS/Telex and Clear-Com for many years. I'm not familiar with Riedel but the other two companies have top reputations for production intercom systems. If security is an issue then the encrypted systems now being engineered and made by Telex might be a good bet; not cheap but they work well and the NFL is their best reference.

Re: radio intercom interface
thanks for the input tom ... yes we do already have 2 telex/rts systems although they are in "open" wireless frequencies where as we own licenses and can provide much higher power outputs into a two way radio interface covering a much larger space and even in and around buildings
and most of our wired intercom belt packs etc are rts or some clear com stuff ... you are correct they are the standard and very well known and respected ...
i don't know of a similar product that is all in one instead of pieces and parts you would have to wire with the radios ...
i have read about using various telex interfaces to key up radios through call signals however this seemed to be a fairly easily setup box where either two wire or 4 wire intercom lines could be fed to it ... cost aprox. 2200 ... so not bad considering 2 cdm 1550's and a 2 wire to 4 wire hybrid would cost around 1700 retail ... then you would still need power supply etc. and this provides setup for vox etc all on front panel controls ...
riedel isn't well known in the us which is why i was asking, although they are exclusive provider for f1, red bull air race, and many Olympic events ... not bad resume either ... but i just don't have any experience with their products/ service/ etc.
