XTS5k rebanded system programming

Post by PsyberEMT »

Is there some subtle difference in programming an analog rebanded system that I'm missing in CPS? A small local city recently rebanded. All I did was update the control ch freq to its new rebanded freq, all the other info remained the same. The radio will not receive, but will transmit. I can pick the system up fine on a uniden scanner, so I know the freqs are right (also verified them against the license). What gives!? Its a Type II analog smartnet system, 1 CC.

Contact your system admin for the trunking system in question and explain the problem to him. If you are not an authorized user on the system, stick to your Uniden..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
