Maxar 50, what is the Bandsplit??

Post by Mikey »

I have an Old VHF Maxar 50 (D23JAA1000AK) I am wanting to know if i can recrystal and get it to tune down to 147.225 Mhz. on the RECEIVE ONLY? I will be disabling the transmitter and using this as a receive only radio. Any Help would greatly be appreciated.

The manual I have here says 146-162.1 Mhz with maximum frequency separation of 1 Mhz if you are thinking of more than one channel.
