We're having some "fat finger" issues with the emergency button on our new XTS 5000 radios. Is there a way of re-programming the emergency button so it won't activate unless there is a "long press" of this button?

Go to the CPS help files and enter Long Press. The entire operation for Long Press Emergency is fully described there.
