Part number for GP280 / GP300 antenna 220 mhz

Post by JustinMoon205 »

Does anyone have or know the part number for the 220 mhz heliflex antenna for the GP280 / GP300? I need to replace a couple of them.

Thanks!

Anybody have any Asian Market Motorola contacts who might be able to provide me with the information? I am unable to locate the part number thru Motorola Parts ID.

Thanks!

This might be a little kludge-y but...

How about the adaptor from the weird pin to BNC then use a Larsen or other aftermarket antenna? At least that will get you on the air while you search for the OEM one if you are lucky enough to find it.

You could also get a high band antenna and cut it down if you feel like experimenting........

I have used one of the "tunable" VHF antennas before and just cut it down to be 220Mhz. It worked fine. I may just have to do that. I'd just prefer to have the actual factory antenna, but that may just not happen. Thanks for the suggestion of using the tunable antenna tho.
