MT2000 codeplug ?

Post by Will »

I have a MT2000 UHF hi range that had a 15 key/display front. I changed to a 6 key/display front not needing the extra buttons. Of course the radio does not see the 6 keys. Radio still works fine and I can read/program ok.

What can I do? Change the model number?

What radios do you own?: XTS2.5K-Q, ASpectra, MT2K

Use Lab RSS and, from the main menu with the codeplug loaded, hit F4-F9-F3-F4 and change what you need in there. Mine says Keypad type: Menu & Num Keys;Display Type: 1 Line 14 Chars; HHCH Capable: Disabled;Button Debounce(ms): 50; Synth out of lock: disabled;Zone/Chan Select: Last Zone.

Hope that helps some!

Lab RSS? Which part number would that be for a MT2000 radio?

May have to send it out to someone who has the 'proper stuff'!
