I have GP328 that was previously working ok. Now when I turn it on it just gives a short low pitch beep for about a second, there is no tx or rx at all. It almost appears as though the programming has gone completely.
When I connect it to CPS and try and read or write to it I get the following message 'Size of RNA region must be at least 3 bytes' then after that 'Unable to get codeplug from the device in order to verify whether we can write to this device or not'
Does anyone know what the problem might be with this radio ?
As I said, it was working fine until recently.
Thankyou for your assistance.

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
Re: GP328 - CPS Error Message
not shure if the overseas radios have the same problem as the us radios but it might need the contaminant upgrade kit, what color is the rubber gasket around the battery terminals?

The gasket is Orange.
The back of the radio seems in good condition, with no signs of contamination.
