MCS2000 I/O pins

Post by MP 6.7 »

Is it possible to use one of the I/O pins on the MCS2000 to drive a relay? What's the voltage output and maximum current draw? I'm looking to use a relay controlled by the radio to switch between two speakers.

Also, I haven't opened up the codeplug yet to look so forgive me if this is a dumb question...is there a Speaker A/B function like the Spectra on the MCS2000? Ultimately I would like to control the state of the relay through a button on the radio.

No, and no...you'll have to go with an external switch.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
