Waris antenna?

Post by bezking »

Hi all,

Is it bad to put the UHF Quarterwave /\/\ sells for the XTS and others on an HT1250? It seems like it fits, but that doesn't mean much...

Thanks!
The bandsplit is only a suggestion.

Yes..BAD. The Waris radios use a different antenna connector than the XTS, Jedi, and Astro Saber radios.

Waris radios use the 'MX' threaded connection, and the Astro series(XTS, Saber, Etc....) use an SMA connection.
No RF will get to your antenna if you try to use an SMA style antenna on a Waris series radio.
