MCS2000 Help

Post by Pump3 »

Hey guys
I have a Model I 45watt MCS2000, on a 800MHz trunk system...
All a sudden the radio receive sensitivity has gone to crap, and the radio wont affiliate.....it tries to, the light flashes, its drawing lots of current so I dont think the PA is shot....but then it will display NO SYS ...but it will continue to receive at times just with horrible sensitivity....

Any ideas?
A fellow I know with a local FD said theres is doing the same thing now suddenly, so hope its something common...
