Thanks guys, the cablle seems to work fine. I'm trying to use a terminal program (Termite or Winterm) to program it because the Motorola software is way to expensive. Anyway, when the patch is connected to the computer it doesn't respond to hitting enter 5 times, per the manual. I know the cable is good because I can read the patch with the GAI-Tronics software which I have. Can't write to it however because it's a Motorola unit and requires RSS to write. It does however echo [00] to the terminal software when powered up or down. Anyone have any ideas on this? -Don
