Help with Motorola Base Microphone
Ok here's the deal, I just bought a Motorola Spectra high power with an A7 head. Since I plan to use it as a base radio I want to change it from the HMN-1061A hand mic it came with to a HMN-1038D desk mic. The problem is this, the hand mic comes with 5 wires, red, white, green, black and blue and the base mic has only 4 wires, blue, green, red and black. I know I have to match all the wires from the Spectra mic on the exact color wires on the base mic but what to do with the white wire ? Where does it goes on the base mic board ? The base mic has 7 points where you can solder it but only 3 are available after matching the 4 wires I know. If anyone can please help me tell the exact order that I should match the wires from the Spectra mic to the base mic I would be greatly thankful. I know it's a long story for such a short question. Thanks in advance.

that have a wealth of information. One is called the "repeater builders" site and the other is the backbone of
Motorola support for everyone and that is batlabs.com. In a search on my second selection, I found this
information. Try looking here and see if this provides what your looking for.
