It would help some if you stated where you're located.

KT2728,
How is the radio's modulation on analog channels? The P25 modulation should follow the analog modulation and is not separately adjustable.

Tom, i am in SW oklahoma.
Will, as far as i can tell the analog modulation is fine i can tx and rx with no issues. i do not have a service monitor of any kind.

Anyone with a monitor should be able to do it, all the tuning is done in analog mode. 2.83KHz deviation is the magical number for compensation
Re: looking for someone who can do a P25 Alignment
If you go into the test mode and transmit, the tone should be clear and not distorted, the 'release' swak ( P25 turnoff) should be clear digital sound on a receiver.
If not, I will be glad to align it to factory specifications.
I have seen many come thru here with the alignment values WAY off. The analog TX may sound OK but the P25 is distorted.

Any instrument capable of accurately measuring FM deviation and frequency down to 1 Hz can be used to align Astro Spectras (and Sabers too.) You don't even need an external audio generator; everything's generated in the radio for you.
