Motorola ht750 Help

Hi im having trouble programing a ht750 ,first off im able to program the ht750 on R05.04.00 but i cant program the ht750 that are on r05.09.02 when i try to read it i get a "80040154 : Couldn't createInstance on the device after getting UUID". I am using a Professional CPS Radio 06.10.04 program to read the ht750 does any one know whats going .If they can help i would appreciate it.

CPS version is probably too old, upgrade to current which is R6.11.10

the big firmware jump was at 5:13:04 and you needed at least 6.09.06 to read it so that cps should read it. But, that don't mean that the firmware hasn't been upgraded again and it isn't what's on the sticker on the back? Clean all of the contacts on the side of the radio with a pencil eraser and try it again.
