I did a search for this and I came up empty-handed...
I have an XTS5000 with the flashcode 560001-001307-0 and Host/DSP 14.
I had been warned by someone some time ago that when programming these radios, if you delete any of your FPP zones in the radio, you cannot get them back. This was well before R14 came out, but i'm wondering if it still is the case.
I typically blank a radio down to 1 zone before beginning my programming, and I don't want to do something that will cause me to lose my FPP zones.
Thanks!

Re: XTS5000 Host 14 & FPP
You'll have no problems.. Just uncheck "FPP" for each zone you don't want, and then click the red X to delete the zones you don't want.. Zone 1 has to stay FPP, so you won't be able to do anything with that, but you should be fine wiping it and starting over.

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Re: XTS5000 Host 14 & FPP
The main thing is (as far as I know) the FPP zones have to be the first zones, and non-FPP zones the ones after that. You can have up to 15 FPP zones with 16 channels each (one personality per channel). I've not managed to interleave FPP with non-FPP.
