mtx9250 corrupted eepots
I have a MTX9250 with a Fail 00/82 message when the radio is turned on. This message happened after it was undergoing an alignment. I can't read the eepots anymore. Any input or help would be appreciated.

- What radios do you own?: More than I can count
Re: mtx9250 corrupted eepots
I recently ran into the same type of problem with a CDM-1250 mobile. We are in the middle of narrow banding our fleet. One of the techs calls me stating he has a radio that has no adjustments for the narrow band deviation in the soft pots, they are all grayed out. After a little checking, I find that the tuning data in the radio is corrupted. Apparently if the data is corrupted, the adjustments wont show in Tuner.
Fortunately I have some software (no names please) that let me re flash the entire radio back to factory. That's when I discovered that the tuning file that I had saved in my computer was corrupt for when I reloaded the saved tuning file into the radio it had the same problem. I then re flashed the radio again to factory settings again and before I corrected the serial number I took a file from another radio with a serial number that was very close and loaded that in. All the tuning parameters came back in Tuner. I then fine tuned the radio and then saved that tuning file and rewrote over the bad saved file. Other than this procedure I don't know of any other way of fixing the problem except to send the radio back to the factory. A rather expensive fix at $280.00 for a minor problem.
Don't ask me for the software, but it can be found if you look around the internet.
