Melbourne Florida Hamfest this weekend.

The Melbourne Fl Hamfest [near the Kennedy Space Center] is this weekend. Anybody going. It's not a huge show, but pretty nice. Last year it was 90+ degrees outside. Most of the show is indoors in the AC, but there is a good tailgate area too in the parking lot. Got a nice laptop & MCS 2000 there last year. Hope to meet some members there. GARY N4KVE

i made my shopping list and checked it twice. i packed my bags and gassed up the car. Then my wife reminded me i have family coming this weekend and I already made plans with them. DOH! ;-(

I want to go but I won't be able to join in the fun.

Nice show. Got 4 nice used RNN4006B XTS batteries for $2.50 each, factory Jedi prog cable for $10, 2 mint top display 900 MHZ MTS 2000's for $40 each, 3 Advancetec pulse chargers for $3 each, & a new Spectra Motorcycle mike for $5. Also saw lots of friends who I've known for many years. Good tailgate area in the parking lot. A great time was had by all. GARY N4KVE
