XTS5000 Squelch

Ok so I read over all the topics, this one specifically /viewtopic.php?f=15&t=90535, but have yet to come to a definite conclusion.

Both my XTS5000R and MTS2000 UHF radio's do this. No transmissions are heard until the Mon button is pressed, yes I do have MDC turned on and have tried both the AND/OR features with no results.

Where did I goof with the programming?

My first guess is that the receivers are set for tone squelch and your using the wrong Pl tone on TX. You
might try programming the receiver channel to carrier squelch until you figure it out.

The thing is Jim, most of these channels are RX only...I would go back to a known good c/p but my flashdisk with my archives has been MIA for two weeks now.

Disable MDC signalling (set signalling type to None) on the personality or personalities you're having issues with. If that fixes the problem, check your Decode Unmute Type and make sure it's set to OR (or simply disable Sel Call Decode).
