Saber KVL hirose adapter

Post by Zero dbm »

I was wondering if anyone here can inform me, in greater detail than the kvl page here, what the pin out is for hirose --> saber accy.

I am trying to make my hirose headset adapter able to keyload. I don't mind butchering the adapter, as I have a bunch of them. I just need one to be able to load encryption.

I only need to know the wiring from the female hirose bulkhead to the saber within the adapter. I have the cable from the KVL3000 to hirose already.

Thanks in advance, and I did already search the site with no luck.

Hello!

I have a couple of new Hirose adapters, model NTN5664 (the ones with the "D" on back). I've used these with audio accessories and keyloaders (not the 3000 yet) without problem. The document included with the adapter is P/N 68P81108C78-B. No technical info (schematics) though. I did open one up, and it is not a direct-wired device (from Hirose to Saber connector pins), as there is a SMT circuit board in between. Sorry I don't have any further info!

When or if you find out please let me and the others know! I've posted this same question in the past but got no answer. I have a few too and it would be nice to use one for keyload. I figured out the audio pin out's at one time but not the keyload.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but the adapter DOES work with the older T30XX KVLs. I just haven't gotten my hands on a 3000 model to verify that it work with it too. You just need the Expo KVL cable (TKN8531B or C) and the Saber adapter (NTN5664D) and keyload away!

Hey, thanks for the info! I had no idea it was the same as the expo.

Yes but it must be the "D" revision
