Quantar COR Relay Sticky?

Post by Tim »

Hi Folks,

Anybody have any experience with this relay sticking in the 'on' position?

Grounded one end of the relay, and the other has a 4.7k resistor to +5v.
Shouldn't be much of a load on the relay.

Guess I'll replace it... maybe just put in a fet, then won't worry about it.

thanks,

Tim

RDStat (aux out 7) does use a relay, but you can assign another aux output. Aux 8, 9, and 10 are also relays while Aux out 3, 4, 5, and 6 are user defined if you can utilize an open collector to ground. Programming is done in the wildcard. Review the backplane section of the manual for pinouts.

Hi Bill,

thanks for the info. The card I have only has one relay populated, but as it turns
out, that was not the problem. Had an internal short in a multi-conductor
cable!

Thanks!
