What is a "Maxtrac Data Radio"?

What is a "Maxtrac Data Radio"?

I didn't even know such a thing existed, and I'm finding virtually no information regarding this radio. In all my reading about Maxtracs, I've never seen one mentioned, and I'm very curious about it.

What was it designed for? Does it have any advantage over conventional or trunking models for data *monitoring*?

I did a search by the model number (D35MJA75A1AW) and found nothing.

Probably a data radio for a Mobile Data Terminal. From the number it is a 800 mHz radio.
