CM300--CPS Error 40040...

Post by cduda »

Hello All.

I am using CPS version R05.09 and have a CM300 Model AAM50KQF9AA1AN, VERSION # R04.01.02 and when I read the unit, it gets to about 83-90% and comes up with the error " Error 40040 Region not supported "

I cannot seem to find anything about this. Can anyone help in this matter and advise what the problem is and how to correct.

Thank you

I do believe aftermarket---looks like a cat5 cable...using a RIB--I have used this cable on CM300's before with no problem. Since I sent this, I upgraded my CPS to R05.09 and now have an error---region not supported. I do believe it needs upgraded even more. Agree?

Hard to say since Motorola removed most of the error-specific codes around R05.07 and started popping out error codes that are either too generic to determine the problem or are completely incorrect. Current CPS version is up to .13 or .14 so the codeplug being too new is quite likely.
