MTX850 Programming

Post by fallspolice »

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible for my Motorola MTX850 to operate on a Motorola Smartnet type II analog system? I know a few years back I was able to do it on my MTX8250. Thanks for your help.

The trunking features on an MTX850 are the same as on an MTX8250. Both radios are compatible with Type II & IIi systems. Remember, however, these are Privacy Plus radios so they will not support all of the features found on a Smartnet system.

emergency call, dynamic regrouping, priority monitor scanning...pretty much all Smartnet II enhancements.
