Motorola XPR 4550

Post by w9dmw »

Good Morning and Merry Christmas to all. "I AM A NEWBIE TO THE GROUP"...
I have picked up a Motorola XPR 4550 Mobile radio. I have downloaded the manual, But in the manual, I was trying to locate if the radio will do CTCSS Tones, I was told it would by the seller,This is a new radio version for me, As I purchased it for our P25 digital repeater.
As I am also new to the group, I hope I am posting in the right section. Please advise. The radio has more features than I can possible use, But I bought it at a close out price, very reasonable. None the less, I would be greatfull for some insight on the CTCSS and conventional usage of this unit.

Happy Holidays To All, Don
