PTT Conection tone

Post by BigTex1136 »

So I was wondering this, you know the beeps you here on an Mts-2000 when on a trunking system when you push the ptt button letting you know your conected and ready talk. Well is there anyway you can program the radio to make those beeps anytime the Ptt is pushed no matter on a trunking system or convention simplex channel?

The Motorola TRBO HTs will do this in both analog and digital modes, in both simplex and repeat settings, but I don't know of any others that will unless they're on a trunking system.
