APX 7000 system key??

APX 7000 system key??
Looking someone to answer this question for me. Do I need an advance system key to program a trunked 800 system? I've been hearing through the grapevine that motorola did away with that in a later version of the CPS. Thanks!

Search term used: +APX +system +key
The radio will need the correct flash option, the search will show what it is, I don't recall of the top of my head.

Depends on the flashcode in the radio. It shouldn't be a problem, just get it from the sys administrator.bilat wrote:Looking someone to answer this question for me. Thanks for the info. My system admin does not even know what an advanced system key is. Go figure! As long as I know what to look for I'll be okay. I'm glad to know that I don't need an ASK.
