Programming a Kenwood TK-380 using a Motorola RIB

Hello, I am just curious as to whether or not anyone has tried to program a Kenwood TK-380 or any Kenwood radio using a Motorola RIB for the interface and just a simple cable to the radio? As a Motorola dealer we encounter the odd kenwood and Midland and whatever and I just want to make up a cable using a junk spk/mic cable that can be used with the RIB just to eliminate having to power the kenwood cable and/or having to purchase a cable. Can anyone help me out?
