Motorola MTS2000 (ЕС - European Community) Question

Hi guys!

I have obtained few MTS2000, Made in EC (European Community). They are NIB, PJ502H Type and H01RDH9PW8AN Model #. Firmware is 'Jedi R06.01'.

They a very similar to US made MTS2000, but a little bit differs - e.g. channel selector doesn't have limit stop and SERVICE MODE shows 'Jedi' prefix before firmware version.

They work fine, but when they receive repeater (Motorola Quantar) with DPL, RX voice noticeably beats with DPL / background noise appear (even when strong signal). Talkaround mode with DPL sounds better, but I still hear beats with DPL / DPL residue. But signals with PL sounds fine. WTF? I never heard anything similar on MTS2000 (US made), Astro Saber, Waris, XTS*/XTL* & etc.

I am disappointed. Any ideas how to solve it?

Anybody have MTS2000 Made in EC? It should have "I" letter in S/N, in the 4-th position.
