XTL5000 flashcode

Post by KC2NNS »

Hi everybody.

I think I know the answer to my question, but I wanted to bounce it off some people who are probably alot more knowledgable than me about such things. :)

I am looking into purchasing an XTL5000 with a flashcode of 58D288-441EE0-7. My question is this: Will this radio do analog/conventional operation?

The flashcode does not show that it includes "G48 Conventional Systems Operation" but I remember reading somewhere that if "G51 SmartZone Systems Operation" is in the flashcode, that conventional operation is included in that. Is this true?

Thanks!

All XTL, XTS, etc. radios do conventional analog FM.

Be advised that some flashcode readers are inaccurate and out of date. You should use only
this one:
