XTS2500 Battery Display

Post by Tim »

Hi Folks,

I have a couple of non-Impres batteries, and obviously don't get any
'smart battery' data from them.

However, is there anyway to get a more generic display... like on the HT1250
that has a battery meter? It may not be very accurate, but it's better than
looking at a blank screen & wondering how much battery is left.

Big deal with these big batterys that last a couple of days!

Just wonderin'

Thanks,

Tim

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

nope, just like the XTS5000, no impres battery=no battery gauge. Only a low battery icon/beep (if enabled in CPS) when the voltage falls below the threshold.
FWIW, I've never found the Waris battery gauges on any Waris radio I've owned to be worth anything. showed a "single bar" forever.
