FPP and CPS

Post by asmitty0010 »

Just got an XTS4000 with FPP. The CPS will not allow me to edit any of the channels or zones. The add/delete button is grayed out. I want to be able to disable FPP so I can edit via CPS.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Problem solved. You must go to the last FPP enabled zone and disable from there. You cannot start with zone 1 or somewhere in the middle and try to disable it because it will not work.

Hope this helps others!

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

never worked with a 4000 but with any other motorola it don't matter if fpp is enabled, you can always read and edit with the cps? do you have or can you get a codeplug from another radio to put in your radio and see if it will let you alter it that way?
