Motorola analog spectra consolette questions

Post by W1HVN »

Does anyone know how to identify if a spectra consolette (analog not digital astro) has a tone remote board in it, be it by a number on the board or a picture some one can supply?

Does anyone have literature or pin out info to wire the db 25 on the back of a tone remote equipped consolette to a tone remote handset or command plus console? (2 wire)

Lastly, anyone have info on jumper settings on the tone remote board in the consolette to use it with a 2 wire as indicated above?

Thanks much.

I don't have the manual, but can provide you with the rear connector connections.

Use accessory connector 2

pin 1 - RX+ for tone remote control (line 1+)

pin 16 - RX- for tone remote control (line 1-)

pin 3 - TX+ for tone remote control (line 2+)

pin 11 - TX- for tone remote control (line 2-)

The line 1 connections should work for a 2 wire interface just fine.

If you send me an email address, I can send you some pdf files with the information.
