Hello everyone I am trying to set up my radio for MDC signaling I have the Transmit part working because I have tested with mobile I have that are set up to receive MDC but I cannot get my ht1550 to display the ID of the receiving signal, am I missing a step in the programming I have went mode through mode and there is only one sot to choose the MDC system which I have as system one, I also have the decode and encode checked off in the MDC programming section. Any help would be much appreciated.

are you positive that the other transmitting radio is sending out mdc?

Are the radios set to the same MDC ID? If so, it will not display.

Yes I have used other units to verify this I was wondering if I have to activate something in the display. Thanks in advance.

Yes I have other units which I have read the ID on my mobile but does not appear on the portable, is there something I need to set up in the display mode.

No all units have seperate Mdc ID'S
