MX3000 help

Post by Walter »

Hi all,
I'm new in Motorola radio and in this forum so excuse me if i will ask something maybe well known to you ( and also for my english!!)
Few months ago a friend gave me a MT3000 radio, after long time, last week, i wanted to use it, but i find out that radio it is locked by a password ( I could get a manual few days ago and find out this funtion), but, naturally, no one knows it! I thought that re-programming radio would remove it, and, following some indication on this forum, i looked for RSS to buy, but i could not find them ( seems that Motorola do not know this radio on his web site, or i was not able to find it!).
I would like to use this radio instead to throw it away, so PLS can somebody help me and let me know if :
Reprogramming radio will really remove password (or there is an other way to do that)?
If so, where can i buy RSS for this radio?
Thanks for all info you would give me!

MX3000 is a european Saber III , The software is different than the US and the options are also different. I beleive the RSS is no longer avalible. There are a few users here that are in Europe that may be able to give you some insight on password removal or programming. Andres I believe is one of the members
