ASTRO Tuner LoadDatabase failed error

Post by rwagner428 »

I am trying to read my ASTRO Saber and XTS3000 with Tuner R01.02.00, but every time I try, "LoadDatabase failed" pops up. They both read and write fine with CPS 5.02, but the Tuner will not get past this pop-up. It starts to read it because it beeps and the display on the radios changes to, "1 CSQ". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Tuner software. No luck. I've purchased new cables. No luck. Has anyone else had this problem? I've seen people have problems with the CPS not reading, but I can't find anything on the Tuner not reading properly. Thank you for your time.

I'm figuring it is something in Windows XP. Is there a way to log exactly what the Tuner software does, and what files are being called to use, right before it starts, and during the reading of the radio?

OK. I installed the Tuner onto another computer and it worked just fine!!! So it must be something wrong with that computer. I was not going to reformat it just for this program. So anyone else with this problem, try installing the program onto another computer.
