spectra b5 to c5 bitbanging

Post by n3obl »

I bitbanged a b5 to c5 and it has ver 6.16 mlm in it. The radio still does not show id's on trunk system. Do i need to load a c5 codeplug in to enable that also.

As far as I know, no analog trunking Spectra except for the C9 with the Sys9000 head could be made to display individual IDs. And even then it wasn't like how the Astro radios do it.. it would display the Motorola channel number and the user ID in hex simultaneously.

I'm not sure it even does that, I have an A-9 on a local system with ID display enabled and it shows nothing. I was wondering if the system controller has to put that information out for the mobile to decode it.
