I have 3, they are dead
Fuse is OK
Volume control/on off switch is Ok
changed the ASFIC
output of the PCIC is low, about 2 volts where should be 5v
Changed the pcic and still dead.
Changed the Q400 { the on/off transistor}
STILL DEAD
:(
Anyone got any IDEA'S

Proff,

Is SWB+ on
does SWB+ turn on and go right back off
16.8Mhz running or not
all regulators up or not
firmware good (not corrupt)
bootcontrol high or is it stuck low
eeprom not trashed (corrupt)

Just a few things to check.

Proff,

The on/off switch is not SWB+. Q400 is the B+ switch. It is controlled by the on/off switch which is mech_swb+.
When I asked about SWB+ I was talking about the test point that is by the shield that Q400 hides under.
