Re: Finding CPS password using Hexeditor
It is possible. Try doing a search on the board for WinHex.
I have found it is usually near where the zone names are stored. Do a Ctrl-F and type in one of your zone names, and it should be pretty close in one direction or the other.

Re: Finding CPS password using Hexeditor
how about some more info like what cps for what radio and what version? and for most there are two ways, search the ram for the password, or alter the cps to bypass the password

Re: Finding CPS password using Hexeditor
you still need to tell us exactly what cps you are using, the fix is in different spots for different versions. and no, you can not clone a file to a maxtrac like that

Re: Finding CPS password using Hexeditor
Hi
I am trying to achieve the same thing, I have managed to see the password viewing the RAM and searching for it, Is it possible to modify the CPS to do this without searching the RAM.
I am using both Portable and Mobile ASTRO25 CPS R15.00.00
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
