GM338 Which CPS?

Post by VK2FAIL »

G'day all,

I have a GM338 which I would like to program, the model number is AZM25SHF9AA5
If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.

I have purchased a ribless programming cable for the radio.

So after a little more digging it would seem that this radio is sold as the CDM1550 in the states, where the CDM750 is the two channel version and the CDM1250 is the 64 channel version.

It would also seem that I need the R06.04.00 CPS, can anybody confirm ?

TIA!

6.04 is ancient so depending on the firmware in the radio it may not work. but first you will have to alter the cps to read the overseas radio. you're not using that radio here in the states are you? it's not fcc approved here
