HNN9008ASP01

Post by Spiffy50 »

Hey guys, looking at these on MOL:

Item Number. HNN9008ASP01
ENGRAVED RENTAL BATTERY FOR HT750/H

They're $48.56, as opposed to $67.20 for the HNN9008A.

Is the capacity the same? And how's the engraving part work? I'm considering ordering one just for the heck of it. Thanks!

What radios do you own?: HT1250 I saved from the dump

I would assume that it would come engraved with something like "Property of MOTOROLA RENTAL", like the ones we get delivered with HT1250's we get from Motorola rental when our shop rental fleet won't suffice.

But, I also know Motorola makes products branded with the "Bearcomm" logo.

Suspect you'll need to fill out the form and pay for Motorola to engrave the battery under the SP auth. I have read they'll do basic logos in addition to alphanumerics. Not sure on the cost, but for less than 100 units at the depot they want about $25-30 apiece so in the end you're likely paying much more for the battery "out the door"
